Find Santa competition rules

1. Taking part is free, with no purchase required.
2. Anyone can join the search. Under-18s take part with a parent or guardian, who posts the photo.
3. The search days are Friday 11 and Wednesday 16 December 2026. On those days a clue appears every hour from 5 pm to 9 pm, and Santa can be found between 6 pm and 10 pm.
4. Only search from public roads and paths. Don’t enter private property, climb anything or obstruct traffic, and respect the neighbours.
5. Don’t pester Santa.
6. On each search day we announce an item with the first clue. Your photo must show Santa and the item of the day; otherwise it doesn’t count.
7. On each search day, the first clear and valid photo on our Facebook page wins. The time of the post decides.
8. Anyone who knows the location in advance, and anyone living with them, cannot take part.
9. Each winner receives a lovely prize, which cannot be exchanged for cash.
10. We publish the winner’s first name and town, and a photo only with their permission.
11. Your photo is public on Facebook; you can delete it yourself. We use your name only for this competition.
12. The organisers may change or stop the competition in case of bad weather, damage or an unsafe situation.
13. Sharing on your own profile or tagging friends isn’t needed and gives no advantage.
14. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook or Instagram and is not connected with Meta. Participants release Meta from all liability.
